Note:The theme of the study is young people in vulnerable situations in terms of education,work, participation and mental ill-health. The report also examines how public agencies and services in the three countries describe challenges, initiatives andmeasures relating to this group. The work is based on qualitative interviews held inIceland, the Faroe Islands and Norway.

The researchers have interviewed 22 young men and women who, for various reasons, are at risk of exclusion from important societal arenas. They also interviewed 58 professionals working with the target group at national, municipal and projectlevels.
