| Innhold: | This report is based on a master’s thesis submitted in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Laws in Information and Communication Technology Law at the University of Oslo.
The report considers three questions: (i) are emotions personal data as defined by Article 4(1) GDPR?; (ii) are emotions a special category of personal data as listed in Article 9(1) GDPR?; (iii) to what extent is it transparent to individuals that their emotions are being processed? The report was researched and written under the aegis of the project "Vulnerability in the Robot Society" (VIROS) funded by the Research Council of Norway. |
