One of them was Eileen Schreiner Berglie, who helped set the standard for the role of editorial assistant. Eileen was a highly integrated member of the Research Department at the Norwegian Police University College (PHS) and was a substantial contributor to the work of getting the journal up and running. With the help of Eileenʼs competence in design, layout, and process management, we were able to launch and run a journal that has now grown and become a vital outlet for academic research and practice-oriented literature. In loving memory of her warmth and her social ingenuity, we are grateful for having had the chance to work with her.
