Innhold:Summary: Norwayʼs hydropower history is an important reference for our energyrelated development assistance as it was essential for the industrialization and inclusive economic development of the country. In the post-war years (1945-1990) Norway constructed and commissioned an unprecedented number of large hydropower schemes despite considerable political, organisational, technological, environmental, and financial challenges. The aim of this report is to inspire experts and decision-makers to see the many opportunities within renewable energy
and the green transformation of power systems. Combined with strong
national knowledge base, such as technicians, engineers, economists as
well as environmental and social experts, there are tremendous growth
opportunities in this sector.
