| Innhold: | This article intends to analyze the legal framework for one of the possible uses of the Internet – holding online shareholder meetings. It will commence with a brief discussion about the role of shareholder meetings with respect to corporate governance, and about what the Internet can provide for the benefit of such meetings. Thereafter it will explore some of the effects online shareholder meetings can have, both with respect to shareholders and with respect to corporations, before it ends with a review of the legal conditions for online meetings in Sweden and Delaware respectively. |
